Academica Hub Sign-In Codes: SMS Opt-In

Academica Hub sign-in codes is an optional text message program from Academica. It lets people who use Academica Hub at academicahub.com sign in with a one-time code sent to their phone instead of a password. Academica Hub is the internal portal for Academica employees and for the staff and board members of the charter schools Academica serves. It is not offered to students or parents.

How to Opt In

  1. Sign in to Academica Hub with your password.
  2. Choose to add a mobile number: on a one-time screen after your first sign-in, from the reminder in your Hub notifications, or in Settings, then Password & Security.
  3. Type your mobile number and check the consent box. It starts unchecked, and the Text Me a Code button stays off until you check it.
  4. Enter the confirmation code we text you. Your number is not used for sign-in until you do.

This is exactly what the consent box in Academica Hub says (shown here as an example; it does nothing on this page):

Opting in is never required. You can always sign in with your password. An administrator can enter a number on your account, but nothing is texted to it until you check the box and confirm the number yourself.

What You Receive

  • One-time codes to sign in to Academica Hub, or to confirm your mobile number. Never marketing or promotional texts.
  • Message frequency: you get a text only when you request a code.
  • Message and data rates may apply.

Sample messages:

  • Academica Hub: your sign-in code is 482913. It expires in 10 minutes. Never share it; we will never call or text to ask for it. Reply STOP to opt out.
  • Academica Hub: your confirmation code is 739204. It expires in 10 minutes. Never share it; we will never call or text to ask for it. Reply STOP to opt out.

How to Opt Out or Get Help

  • Reply STOP to any sign-in code text to stop all texts. You will get one confirmation and no further messages. You can also remove your number in Settings, then Password & Security.
  • Reply HELP for help, or email aiautomationsteam@academicanv.com.
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
